Strange things are

Ok, I did not want to say mention anything, but I am 
having a slight problem with my rental car...



I have been in Qatar for about 6 weeks now.  One of 
the first things I noticed when I got here, beside that fact that it feels like 
a blow dryer is constantly blowing in your face when you go outside, is that it 
is very dusty, and VERY humid.  Sometimes at night, you can actually see 
the humidity.  I always thought that there was a lot of sand here, but it 
is not really "sand".  It's more like this white powdery shit.  
Anyway, as you can imagine, this white dust combined with severe humidity not 
only makes breathing fun, but it also makes it impossible to keep the exterior 
of your vehicle clean.



I mention this for one reason.  My car is dirty.  
I mean, it's wiggity-wack-pornographic filthy.  I have no problems with 
this.  I could pay some Pakistani 8 Riyals (about $2.50) to do it, but I 
just can't see myself talking to someone who could be a terrorist.  So I 
live with my dirty rental car and I go about my business.



About a week after I got here, I noticed that someone had 
written "GT2" in the dirt on my passenger side back-seat 
window.  It was small, and It probably took a while for me to notice, so I 
have no idea when someone could have done it.  Using my finger, I rubbed it 
out and forgot about it.



About a week after that, I noticed that again, someone had 
written "GT2", this time on the top right corner of my 
back window.  I then went into work and immediately asked "Doug", one of 
the organ donors I work with, if he had anything to do with it.  He 
vehemently denied having any knowledge of this.   I guess I believe 
him.



I had all but forgotten about the phantom "GT2" 
until tonight...



I try to get to work at 8:00pm, so I need to leave my 
living quarters at about 7:00pm.  At 7:00pm it is almost dark, so I did not 
notice anything strange.  I also did not look for anything strange, for 
that matter.  I got to the base and as usual went through the vehicle 
search area (which is well lighted).  I proceeded to open up all the doors 
and the trunk for the inspection when I noticed the back window.  Someone 
had written "KID2" in the upper left corner, and there was 
a large "GT2" in the center.  I moved around to the 
driver side and noticed on the back seat window, someone had written "WASH ME 
KID2".



Now, I have seen "WASH ME" on many a filthy vehicle, but 
this other shit is strange.  What the hell is "GT2"?  
What the hell is "KID2"?  I know that I am not "old" 
by any stretch of the word, but I would also not consider myself a kid.  In 
what 3rd world shit-factory does this make sense?  Does "GT2" 
mean "GO TERRORISTS, TWICE?"  I am at a loss.  If anyone has any idea 
on what they think this could mean, please let

me know.
